27-09-2002 - MP3 "Faith" online
On September 3rd, Kane played a part of a new song at Barend & van Dorp. You can download this part of "Faith" from the new section "Special" whitch you can find in the menu on the left.
I also uploaded the recording of "Hold On To The world" also from September 3rd, played in the dutch parlement, and also the live version of "Moment of truth" a song played live only once.
26-09-2002 - Single release 14 oct.
According to the BMG website Click2Music, the single Hold On To The World will be released on October 14th. Earlier the release was planned for tomorrow, September 27th. I do not know the reasen for this delay yet.
23-09-2002 - Belgium
Today the nominees for the TMF Awards in Belgium were presented. Unfortunately Kane is not one of them. But with a good performance at this award-show overthere, next year they will be nominated for sure !!!
Meanwhile "Rain Down" is doing pretty well in "De Afrekening". This week's position is number 5 !!

21-09-2002 - News-update
Hello Everyone. After a holiday, I am back again with as much as possible news about Kane
The last week, some nice things happened, so I will give you a short update.
- Kane will play at the Belgium TMF Awards on October 26 (watch Gigs)
- The single Hold On is in store from September 27
- In De Afrekening Kane is listed at nr 9 (14 last week)
- In the Cybertop50 Hold On is listed at 8 (46 last week)
13-09-2002 - Our Martijn as guestdrummer / Rain Down Belgium
Drummer Martijn Bosman has played as guest-drummer on the first solo album of the Dutch artist Guus Meeuwis. You can find this on the website of Guus, and I heard it this morning on Stenders Vroeg on radio 3FM. It is not clear yet what Martijn excactly drummed on this cd.

In the Belgium chart De Afrekening the single Rain Down On Me is positioned on number 14 this week. It is a interactive chart (like the CyberTop50), on which can be voted througt the internet.

In the section Fans, I added a link to the photoalbum of Marsél. He went to Johannesburg with MTV. I also moved the pictures of Johannesburg from the "arbeidsvitaminen" to this section.

In the menu on the left, I added a new section. Especially for nice items sent in by fans.
As a first item, a (photo)report of a playbackshow, in witch Rain Down On Me is performed in a very special way.
Ofcourse everyone is invited to sent in your special items. Think of concert-reports, special photo's, nice drawings etc..

11-09-2002 - Nieuwsupdate..
Despite of the fact that Kane will not perform for a long time (the rest of the current year), there is still a lot going on around the band.
Ofcourse the new single will be in the stores by the end of this month. It's already played a lot on the radio, for example on 3FM (high rotation), and you can already vote on it at the interactive CyberTop50. For now, weeks before its release, the single is already listed in the Tip-parade on number 25 this week. Cybertop50
You can also vote again for the MTV Video Music Awards. Kane is nominated again for "Best Dutch act" (together with 9 others). The last two years, Kane has won this prestigious award thanks to the votes of all the fans. MTV Video Music Awards
10-09-2002 - Preview Rain Down On Me clip.
Paul-Jan announces at kane.nl that there is a preview of "the making of" the new international videoclip of Rain Down On Me on the site.

03-09-2002 - Dutch Parlement / Barend & Van Dorp
Just returned from a beautifull Kane-day.
First there was the spectacular appearence of Kane at the Dutch Parlement, where Hold On To The World was played before the members of the parlement and the press, which was present with a lot of camera's.
A few pictures already, the rest of them will hopefully follow by wednesday evening.
After this we drove directly to Hilversum, where we attended the show of Barend & Van Dorp, the last appearence of Kane for the year 2002. Despite of the sickness of Dinand, it was again a fantastic performance of the new single.
03-09-2002 - Kane at Barend & van Dorp tonight
Kane will be a guest at the tv show of Barend & van Dorp again tonight.
Last time, on may 23th, Kane played a very exclusive version of Rain Down On Me.
The show will be on tv from 22.30 to 23.30 on RTL4.
01-09-2002 - Gig Dutch Parlement exclusive
More and more it seems that the show that Kane will give next thuesday to the members of the Dutch Parlement will not be accessible for the general public.
Kane will play for half an our, exclusivly for the members of the Parlement.
Ofcourse this site offers exclusive pictures of all kind of shows for a reason, so also the pictures of this gig will be online by wednesday evening.
